Position Information
VEA Health is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join a growing emergency department at Val Verde Regional Medical Center in Del Rio, Texas. This position offers the chance to work in a supportive Level IV Trauma Center with strong specialty backup and a committed care team.
Qualifications
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine, or Board-Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with ER experience
ACLS, PALS, and ATLS preferred
ATLS not required for BC/EM
Spanish fluency a plus
Position Highlights
12 ED beds
Level IV Trauma Center
Full-time schedule of 120 hours per month
12-hour shifts: 7a–7p or 7p–7a
Excellent multi-specialty backup and nursing support
Eligibility for health, dental, and vision plans
Physician-owned and led group with a 90% retention rate
